Holiday Gift Guide Feature — Stuff Her Stocking with Ribbies
Little girls everywhere will love waking up on Christmas morning to find Ribbies in their stockings. Ribbies offers some of the most adorable hair clips, hair ties, and headbands that are available on today’s market. I thought that I would share with you some of my favorites and talk about the different outfits that you could pair them with.
Tips to Match Your Daughter’s Hair Accessories to Her Outfits
Tip 1 — Choose Clips that Match Outfits You Already Own
My girls really have a lot of purple outfits this year. One of Althea’s favorites is a purple dress with pink leggings that have purple flowers on them. This Lavender Floral Oval Felt Clip ($8) is a great choice for her because she would be able to wear it with her favorite outfit. I love that the flowers are the same shape as the ones on her leggings and that the colors are spot on too.
Tip 2 — Don’t Be Afraid to Add a Little Bling
Both of my girls love sequins and glitter and one of the best ways for me to add bling to their outfits is with the right hair clip. I love the Sparkle Heart Silver ($6) and think that it would look adorable in either of their hair.
Tip 3 — Find Clips That Are Perfect for Her Hair
Althea has really thin and fine hair. Her hair looks best when it is down and parted a little to one side. I like to use pairs of clips to be able to hold back the front parts of her hair while adding a little bit of style. I love the Maya Zig Zag ($6) that is available from Ribbies. These clips would look adorable in her hair and would match a variety of different outfits that she owns.
Tip # 4 — Save Money with Sets
One great thing about Ribbies is that they offer a number of great sets so that you can buy all of the great hair accessories that you want for a low price. I personally love the Zoe Hair Clip Set ($15) because it features three hair clips that would go with a variety of different outfits that Adeline and Althea have. I also love that the three clips are different styles of clips which gives you versatility.
Tip 5 — Go with Something YOU Love
I have to admit that I personally LOVE chevron. My girls do not have a chevron obsession but they like to look cute. So when it comes to cute hair bows I like to buy chevron ones. I love the Set of 6 Chevron Bows ($15) because they come in all of the different colors that I want for my daughters’ wardrobe.
Tip 6 — Let Her Pick What She Loves
Althea LOVES headbands and she loves ones with big bows. The Bow Headband Black ($10) is the headband that we were sent for review. She wears it all of the time and loves wearing it when we are out and about. She has even told me how much she loves it.
